Málaga CF's most competitive Christmas also came to virtual reality

BeFootball and Málaga CF brought fans together for a special holiday event where VSSoccer transformed the club's offices into a space for competition, community, and discovery. 

A different way to celebrate Christmas 

Christmas is a time to come together, share experiences, and create lasting memories. With that idea in mind, BeFootball and Málaga CF organized a special event that gave supporters the opportunity to discover a new way to experience football. 

For a few hours, the club's offices were transformed from a workplace into a competitive arena where visitors stepped into the world of VSSoccer, the football experience behind Virtual Sports®. 

More than a technology showcase, the goal was to bring virtual reality closer to the club's fans while creating a unique and festive experience. 

A tournament for Málaga CF supporters 

Participants advanced through round after round in a tournament where competition went hand in hand with sportsmanship and fun. 

Every match brought new challenges, celebrations, goals, and calls for rematches, while spectators cheered from outside the virtual pitch. 

The event demonstrated that football's competitive spirit remains the same, whether the game is played on grass or inside an immersive virtual environment. 

One champion... and an unforgettable experience for everyone 

As with any competition, only one participant emerged as the winner. 

The champion received official Málaga CF prizes, including a club jersey, bringing a memorable day of football, competition, and Blue and White passion to a perfect close. 

Beyond the trophies, however, the event's greatest success was seeing supporters of all ages come together to share a unique experience built around football and innovation. 

When technology fades into the background 

One of the most interesting aspects of the event was that many participants had never used a virtual reality headset before. 

Yet within just a few minutes, the technology itself became secondary. 

What truly mattered was the competition, the excitement of every match, and the opportunity to share a different kind of football experience with fellow Málaga CF supporters. 

Virtual reality stopped being the attraction and simply became another way to enjoy the game.
