Christmas with Málaga C.F. fans

Last Christmas, together with Málaga Club de Fútbol, we transformed the club's offices into more than just a workplace. For a few hours, they became a small competitive arena where the white-and-blue fans could put on a headset, enter the world of VSoccer, and discover a new way to experience football.

Participants advanced round after round, competing against each other, celebrating goals, demanding rematches, and showing that healthy rivalry also has a place when the playing field exists in an immersive environment.

In the end, as in any worthy competition, there was only one champion. The winner received various prizes from Málaga CF, including an official club jersey, combining in one experience the passion for football, competitive spirit, and the thrill of representing the colors.

But beyond the winner, results, or prizes, something especially interesting happened. Many attendees had never tried virtual reality before. However, just a few minutes were enough for the technology to fade away and what mattered to appear: the desire to compete, share an experience with other fans, and enjoy the game.

And during one Christmas afternoon, among goals, headsets, and Málaga fans, we saw that football still works the same as always: it brings people together, creates excitement, and makes memories. The only difference is that now it can do so in two worlds at once.
